Join us onboard Turks famous paddle steamer style boat The New Southern Belle on this special Christmas Gin Cruise for a guided gin tasting with Hampton Court Gin founder Simon Marjoram. You will have the opportunity to try their award-winning gins; elegant and aromatic The Six Wives and smooth but spicy Lord of Misrule. Based on a medieval tradition of festive Mischief and Mayhem, Lord of Misrule is a refreshingly warming and curiously spicy gin with a fascinating background story. Plus, try an exclusive sample of their brand new Craft Spiced Rum offering, The Father, inspired by Henry VIII’s pivotal role in establishing the Royal Navy during his reign. All this as we glide past Hampton Court Palace, spectacularly lit up for the festive season.
Tickets are priced at £24.50 per person, this includes 2 x gin and tonics, a 2-hour cruise, nibbles and guided tasting hosted by the founder Simon Marjoram. There will be an opportunity to make use of the fully licensed bar onboard, serving a range of gin inspired drinks, who knows, you could even twist the bar tenders’ arm for a recipe to dazzle your friends and family this Christmas. Private Hire A perfect venue for any occasion
For a riverside party venue that is memorable, stylish and fun, Turk’s party boats are available for private hire all year round. Each boat has an outside deck, dance floor, bar and is fully heated during the winter months. When you are looking for a party venue in Richmond or Kingston upon Thames, Turk's party boats are a unique venue choice.
With 3 different sized party boats with bags of character, we have capacity for up to 150 guests. Birthdays, weddings, anniversaries – any occasion can be celebrated. What is different, is that you have the varying areas on the boat where your guests can socialise – yet maintain an intimacy where everyone still feels together.
Mingle at the bar, enjoy the views from the outside decks or have a good chat in the lower booths. Tables for eating can be arranged in a relaxed or more formal manner. The dance floors are perfectly sized for a good time.
Party Boats depart from Turk's piers at Kingston, Richmond and Hampton Court.
We also can depart from select waterside locations within this stretch of the Thames including The Lensbury, Wharf, Orleans House, Bingham and more.
For a party venue, a boat is memorable in ways that a typical venue isn’t. It is a wonderful experience for everyone to watch the changing scenery. It also provides a unique, scenic backdrop for photos.
Our Boats
New Southern Bell
Our most eye-catching boat, this colourful Mississippi style stern wheeler brings a flavour of old New Orleans to the River Thames. Can host up to 150 guests, or 86 for a seated dinner. Bar and dance floor.
Yarmouth Belle
Originally built in 1892, this traditional English side wheeler offers elegance and a large outside deck that is a wonderful social space. Can host up to 125 guests, or 35 for a seated dinner, Bar and dance floor.
Richmond Royale
A wonderful party boat sporting panoramic views from the open top deck. A great space for a get together! Can host up to 50 guests, or 20 for a seated dinner. Bar and dance floor.
