Sunshine, stunning location and live music – Hampton Court Palace Festival is the summer evening of summer evenings!
Held in the atmospheric palace gardens, a wide repertoire of artists to suit all tastes will be performing – whether you like jazz, classic, opera, soul or pop.
Did you know that to make it even more of a special occasion you can arrive by boat to Hampton Court Palace – in time for when the Palace Gardens open for the concert from 5.30pm?
It’s far less hassle than trying to park – and loads more fun. There is a bar on board each boat – it is a spectacular sight to see Hampton Court Palace from the river.

Once you arrive at Hampton Court pier you are a minute’s walk from the palace gates. Once inside you can find plenty of places to eat and drink in the picturesque East Gardens before settling down to enjoy your evenings entertainment in the Tudor Courtyard.

Turks run boat trips from Richmond and Kingston to Hampton Court Palace.
The last boat from Richmond leaves at 4.15pm and takes approximately 1 hr 45 minutes – the pier is directly outside the White Cross pub.
The last boat from Kingston leaves at 4.45pm and takes just 35 minutes – pier is at the back of John Lewis.
