PRIVATE HIRE ENQUIRIES

Once you have confirmed the date and vessel, you will be able to provisionally book your event for up to 7 days at no obligation. In order to proceed with the booking, we would then require a £300 booking deposit along with a signed booking form to be submitted via our website.
We require full payment (less £300 booking deposit, if applicable) to be paid no later than 28 days prior to the date of sailing.
In this case, we would require full balance as soon as possible.
We require a £250 security deposit to be held against any damages to the vessel. This would be reissued to yourself within 5-7 working days following your event, provided it is not needed for the aforementioned.
Payment can be made over the phone, via BACs transfer, cheque, or cash should you wish to pop into our office in person. We accept all major credit and debit cards with the exception of American Express.
Our standard charters start and finish at Turks Pier, Kingston (behind John Lewis department store). We also have piers situated in Richmond and Hampton Court. Should you wish to be picked up/dropped off at one of these alternative piers, please contact the office.
There will be an empty running charge entailed should you wish to be picked up at any pier other than Kingston – this covers the additional staff and fuelling costs from our base in Kingston. This charge is usually between £175 – £250 depending on location.
We are able to accommodate pick up/drop offs at a number of other piers in our area of operation. These include Hammertons Ferry in Twickenham and The Wharf in Teddington. Please note, there are additional pier fees applicable, and a number of these locations require direct booking by yourself. For all alternative pier enquiries, please contact the office directly.
Our charters are hired on a 4 hour (minimum) basis. Daytime charters run any 4 hours up until 6.00 pm. Evening charters run between 8.00 pm and 12.00 midnight.
Boarding begins 15 minutes prior to your event.

Due to contractual obligations and equipment restrictions on our vessels, we ask that you use one of our designated caterers. From traditional fish and chips to hot buffets, our varied menus ensure there is something for every taste.
All of our boats have fully stocked bars on board, serving an array of soft drinks, wines, spirits, and beers. Should you wish to bring your own standard size (75cl) bottles of wine, sparkling wine, or champagne, we would require a £10 corkage fee per bottle to be paid prior to the event.
Drinks on arrival and account bars can be arranged via our bars manager. Please contact the office to discuss any requirements you may have.
We work with a list of DJs that have been familiarised with the health and safety protocols on our vessels. We also use specialised equipment due to power restrictions on our boats. As such, we cannot accommodate requests for external DJs. Should you opt to book a DJ, we would hire the one deemed most suited to your event. We would then provide you with their contact details, in order for you to discuss any music preferences you may have with them.
We do not enforce an age limit on our private charters. However, some events (such as 16th – 24th birthdays) require the presence of at least 2 legal guardians on board. Further, we require 1 adult per 10 children present.
Some events (such as 16th – 24th birthdays, proms etc.) require the presence of professional security on board – SIA. We require 1 x SIA for the Kingston Royale and the Richmond Royale, and 2 x SIA for the New Southern Belle and the Yarmouth Belle.
We would still run in the event of rain on the day of your charter. On extremely rare occasions, we have cancelled charters in the event of adverse weather conditions. However, we will always be happy to transfer your event to a more suitable date if the unlikely should occur.
The hire charge covers the skipper, crew, and bar staff.
ENQUIRIES ABOUT OUR VESSELS
From our fleet of 5, we would recommend the most suitable vessel based on the number of guests you’re expecting. We have vessels that can accommodate 45, 50, 75, 125, and 150 guests respectively.
Viewings take place at our office base in Kingston between 9.00 am – 9.30 am. Please contact the office should you wish to book a viewing.
All of our vessels (with the exception of Jeff, which is a day boat) have both indoor and outdoor seating.
With the exception of the Jeff, all of our vessels have both male and female toilets and a fully stocked bar on board.
We have no designated cloakrooms. There is plenty space for coats and bags in the various booths and seating areas scattered around our boats.
There is strictly no smoking allowed inside of our vessels. Please use the outdoor deck for smoking
All of our boats are heated.
We would ordinarily allocate a 30-45 minute slot prior to departure in order to allow you to decorate the vessel as you wish. The only restrictions we have in place are no open flames, no cellotape (bluetack is preferred), and battery powered fairy lights as opposed to plug-in ones. Whilst we do not provide decorations ourselves you are welcome to bring your own.
