Mother’s Day in Kingston
Alongside shopping in the bustling John Lewis & Bentalls Centre, you haven’t explored Kingston unless you take a stroll along the pretty riverside where there are plenty of places to enjoy lunch.
The Boaters Inn a 2 minute walk along the river from the Turk’s pier with its stunning outside deck is a great place to relax and watch the world go by.
The Riverside Walk bars and restaurants present you with plenty of scrumptious choice – Busabi Eathai, Libanis Comptoir, Cotes Bistro and more sit next to Kingston Bridge. Whilst the independent Woody’s Bar serves outstanding European cuisine. Both are alongside the pretty riverside.
Or head to Charters Quay for the well known chains, Browns, Carluccios, Slug & Lettuce or Byron.
The latest new opening is the Harry Hawkers bar and restaurant which is part of the DoubleTree Hilton. Just 2 minutes walk at the back of the Turk’s pier at John Lewis, it’s a chic, social place to go for lunch.

Mothers Day in Hampton Court
Our pier is at Hampton Court Palace entrance – so you are just a short stroll away from the beautiful gardens.
Or, visit Florimania where there is an extravaganza of flower displays and flower arranging classes – especially for Mother’s Day weekend.
When you’re ready for lunch- the Kings Arms next to Hampton Court gardens has an old English style bar and serves award winning pub food.
Or, just nip across the road and explore the bustling pavement restaurants in East Molesey.
Mothers Day in Richmond
Richmond has an attractive riverside with plenty of places to eat and interesting shopping with it’s Lanes. Along the river, the Bingham boutique hotel serves delicious lunches and afternoon teas, whilst the Petersham hotel restaurant has recently been refurbished and boasts wonderful river views.
On Sunday there is the Duck Pond Market in Heron Square, just 1 minute’s walk from our pier which is full of interesting, arts. crafts and street food. Richmond is the perfect place to browse.
Take a boat trip
To take a boat trip is an extra special treat for Mum. With a bar on board each boat, you can sit and relax on deck taking in the scenic views as we cruise along the pitcuresque Thames.
It’s a memorable way for all the family to get together and enjoy a drink on board whilst taking in the stunning scenery. Plus, kids love it and perfect for tired legs.
