Sunday 29th March – and for the first time – a half marathon is being run at Hampton Court Palace.
Organised by Run Britain, The Palace Half course is set amongst the stunning historical grounds within Hampton Court Palace, along the banks of the river Thames, through Home Park with the run completing near the palace gardens.
Whether you are an ambitious runner training for a full marathon, or a more leisurely runner who just loves the outdoors – it’s hard to think of a more stunning location within which to run!
The event is on Sunday 29th March 9am – 1pm.
Turk Launches will be running river trips from Kingston and Richmond to Hampton Court Palace entrance.
It’s one of the most enjoyable ways for supporters to travel to the palace. And has to be the most restful way to get back to Richmond or Kingston if you are a runner!
The first boat trip from Richmond to Hampton Court Palace departs 10am, and from Kingston 10.30am – with trips continuing throughout the day – see timetable
The weather forecast is dry, a bar and toilets are on board each boat – and ample room to rest tired legs whether outside on deck, or indoors.
