On selected dates during the summer, Turks run the Hampton Court Mini Cruise onboard Jeff .
Jeff is one of the Dunkirk Little Ships that assisted in rescuing thousands of British soldiers from Dunkirk, France in 1940. She has a unique and special place in British history.
Departing from Turk’s pier at Hampton Court Palace, relax and enjoy a scenic 30 minute round-trip cruise to the extremely pretty Thames Ditton Island, Swan Island, and Boyle Farm Island and back.
To view Hampton Court Palace golden gates from the river is a spectacular site and an excellent back drop for photos.
This is the perfect cruise to add to a day out without it taking up too much time. A great way to entertain kids, or give visiting friends and relatives a small taste of our beautiful river.
And it is an absolute must if you are interested in the history of WWII, Jeff is just one of a dwindling number of the Little Ships that remain in operation on the water.
The Mini Cruise day will be a regular feature on set days throughout the summer.
Please note, there is no toilet or bar on board the Little Ship – it is a short cruise.
Jeff – Little Ship – is not suitable for wheelchairs, please see our daily timetable where our four other boats are suitable for wheelchair access
